The best Call of Duty players from across Europe descended on London this past weekend to battle it out in the Call of Duty European Championships.
28 teams from the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland the rest of Europe and Middle East went head-to-head for a chance to represent their country at the upcoming Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox, being held 27th -29th March 2015 in Los Angeles. The winners will take home a share of the tournament’s $1 million total prize purse.
Hosted by Activision Publishing in partnership for the second year running with Gfinity, Epsilon eSports from the UK were crowned the Call of Duty European Champions, picking up the $5,000 first prize pot in a tense final match with TCM Gaming (UK) at London’s Royal Opera House.
They will now go on to be the top ranked European team at the Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox, in Los Angeles and with it a much stronger chance to progress to the later stages of the tournament.
Klar1ty Gaming is the top team from the UAE to qualify for the global Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox. The top 14 teams from the Call of Duty European Championships, including the UAE qualifier, will face-off against the world’s best players in California for the global Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox ,being held 27th -29th March 2015 in Los Angeles.
